The Greek Community of Melbourne’s Antipodes, otherwise known as the Lonsdale St Greek Festival, takes over the historic Lonsdale St Greek Precinct. This festival is Melbourne’s largest Greek cultural celebration with an array of mouth-watering Greek culinary delights roving performers, children’s rides and activities, multiple bars and, there will be something for the entire family to enjoy!
This year over 100,000 people filled the historic Greek heart of Melbourne with over 84 pop-up market stalls featuring Greek food, retail, and community groups, complemented by over 70 hours of entertainment on three stages carnival rides, ‘Karagiozi’ shadow theatre, the famed Hoplites, stilt walkers and street bands, cooking demonstrations and fun-filled competitions that saw people win prizes including a trip to Greece for dancing, eating yoghurt and baklava!. https://antipodesfestival.com.au/
For the last 10 years, we have delivered a broad range of event services consisting of cleaning, facilities management, and waste management services for the event.
The festival comprises several key stakeholders DTMF Group works with as part of our service delivery. Working in partnership has been a critical success of this event. This, combined with our personalised services to all the stalls and patrons, sees the event get bigger and better each year.

- Onsite event cleaning services, which include cleaning and waste management for the stalls, food areas and general event cleanliness
- Post-event cleaning, which encompasses specific cleaning techniques for bitumen and street cleaning
- Waste management services
