Our Community

We are big believers in Community, creating it with our partners and employees – and supporting it through active engagement wherever we can.

As a community-minded company, our care and attitude are reflected every day through our people, who are known for their reliability, commitment to excellence and the highest of standards.

Our purpose is to create safe experiences for our people, our clients and the community and visitors. In our view, compliance with the law is merely the starting point on a journey toward transformation and engaged safety leadership, so that everyone in our organisation and those we interact with know that we are not negotiable on our drive toward zero harm in the workplace.

DTMF Group is built on a passion for community, growth and creating a positive business environment. First-hand industry knowledge and practical experience form the basis of our innovative and valuable business model. With a focus on the future, innovation and providing opportunities for employees, we strive to achieve our vision of changing the way cleaning is done.

Social Responsibility

Social sustainability is an important component of DTMF Group’s shared value approach. We have a long history of working with the community and not-for-profit organisations to generate sustainable outcomes that achieve a positive social impact.

Our newly established Social Enterprise DTMF Group Futures is customer and community-focused and promotes socially, ethically and environmentally responsible outcomes and will target the following key areas.

We are passionate about developing open pathways for disadvantaged people to benefit from the skills and expertise of our staff and our partner organisations. We work with our partners to provide a positive impact on our communities.

We support local employment and procurement through:

Direct recruitment of local staff to fulfil the requirements of many company contracts.

Preference to local suppliers whose businesses are registered in Victoria provides opportunities back into the local supply chain.

Preference for procurements that provide environmentally sustainable benefits.

Preference for procurements that provide social benefit
Preference to our partners to employ local staff where possible.

Corporate Responsibility

With family at the heart of everything we do, we work with charities and initiatives to help Australians get job-ready and back into the workforce.

This is achieved through assisting individuals in developing their work skills and gaining essential training under our tailored programs.  We do not discriminate against those who need assistance and share our resources and time with individuals all over Victoria so that they can take back control of their lives and gain independence in the workforce.

DTMF Group provides charitable donations to the following charities:
  • Liptember
  • Royal Children’s Hospital
  • Alannah & Madeline Foundation
  • Berry Street Foundation
  • Salvation Army
  • We also donate sanitisers to several of our school contracts

Liptember has been a charity where we have held fundraisers within our office to promote the awareness of women’s mental health. Through September each year, DTMF Group purchases Liptember boxes with female hygiene products; we then donate them to all our working cleaning staff and our wider community.

DTMF Group cares for each other and especially for those in need. We are very proud to partner with a range of community organisations and help drive initiatives that create a positive impact in the lives of people who face disadvantage, homelessness, inequality or social disconnection.

DTMF Group staff attend and support Collingwood’s Christmas Luncheon for the homeless and disadvantaged. It is held at The Glasshouse, Olympic Park each year and has become a great tradition at the club and one of the biggest events in Melbourne on Christmas Day, with around 600 people attending each year. We consider it a privilege to be able to be part of this very special event.
